Mission- Albino "Al" Trejo, Jr., born on May 14th 1937, passed away on Sunday, October 28th in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents Albino and Candelaria Trejo, a sister, Angelita Cerda, and a son Renaldo Smith. Al is survived by Guadalupe Trejo, his caring and devoted wife of 28 years, his children; Alberto Trejo, Christina T. Talamantez, Sobey Smith-Rebollar, Kelly Smith, and Rachel Armendariz. He is also survived by his siblings; Luis Trejo, Alfonso Trejo, Esther T. Morgan and Amado Trejo as well as grandchildren; Brandon Smith, Mariely Rebollar, Carlos Rebollar, Miranda Garza Smith, Jacqueline Smith, Izac Trejo, Zachary Trejo, Emily Trejo, Julia Trejo, Kenneth Talamantez, Kaydence Talamantez, DeeDee Talamantez and Tate Talamantez.
Al worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freight for many years and was a member of the Teamsters Union # 988.
Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation with the family between the hours of three o'clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock in the evening on Thursday, November 1st 2012 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. A Rosary service will be prayed at seven o'clock in the evening and will be available online at www.legacychapelsrgv.com
Funeral Mass will commence at a half past ten in the morning, on Friday, November 2nd 2012 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen on S. 23rd St . Interment will follow in Valley Memorial Gardens on Taylor Road in Mission.
Having the distinguished honor of serving as pallbearers will be; Ricardo Cerda, Jaime Cerda, Gilbert Cerda, Jr., Alfonso Trejo, Jr., Gilbert Cantu and Felix Castillo
