Juan Tapia

Donna, Texas Mr. Juan Tapia,77, went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2017 in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. Tapia was born on Dec.29,1939 in Mexico to Luis Tapia and Juana Diaz. Mr. Tapia was a life long resident of Donna. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife- Alicia Tapia; his children- Rosa Maria Gonzalez (Eleazar), Maria Guadalupe Tapia Hurtado, Martha Alicia Castilleja (Ismael), Luis Tapia ,Rafael Tapia, and Juanita Spears (Thomas), a sister Ma. Guadalupe Garcia, also 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and his ex wife Rosa Hurtado. Visitation will be held on Saturday April 1, 2017 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Sunday April 2, 2017 at 3:30 PM at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow to Val Verde cemetery in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
