Luis Almaguer

LUIS ALMAGUER HARGILL - Luis Almaguer, 86, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, March 11, 2017, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in Rollo, Texas he had lived in Hargill all his life. Mr. Almaguer was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Bruna Almaguer; two brothers, Juan and Guadalupe Almaguer; two sisters, Francisca and Maria Almaguer. Mr. Almaguer is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Almaguer; nine children, Maria (Jose) Delgado, Maria (Gerardo) Gutierrez, Maria (Jesus) Garcia, Jose Angel (Guadalupe) Almaguer, Maria (Leonardo) Lopez, Maria (Andres) Reyes, Jose Luis Almaguer, Juan Jose Almaguer and Juana Maria Almaguer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jesusa Aguilar, Juanita Almaguer and Josefina Almaguer; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at St. Fancis Cabrini Church in Hargill. Interment will follow at Cemeterio Valle De La Paz in Hargill. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
