RICARDO "RICKY" MUÑIZ EDINBURG - Ricardo "Ricky" Muñiz, 42, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in Grapevine, Texas. Born in Pharr he had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Mr. Muñiz is preceded in death by his father, Jose Isabel Muñiz. Mr. Muñiz is survived by his mother, Maria Cruz Muñiz; a son, Ricardo Muñiz Jr.; his fiancé Nancy Carrera; seven siblings, Jose (Alicia) Muñiz, Javier Muñiz, Alex (Yessica) Muñiz, Raul Muñiz, Marcos (Margie) Muñiz, San Juanita (Eduardo Fernandez) Muñiz and Guadalupe (Cesar) Camacho; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, March 6, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Legacy Chapels. Cremation will take place at later date. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
