SOILA REYNA YOUNG "Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your path; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long" Psalm 25:4-5 EDINBURG — Soila Reyna Young, 81, went peacefully to be with our Lord surrounded by family and friends at Jackson Acres Assisted Living, on September 15, 2012. Soila was born on September 25, 1930, in Rivera, Texas, to (†) Lazaro Reyna and (†) Dominga Lopez. Mrs. Young is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ramon and daughter Ella (Guni) Young. Surviving siblings: Sisters: Mrs. Eva Ayala of McAllen, Mrs. San Juan Vallejo, of Washington State, Ms. Teresa Reyna, brother Lester Reyna of Alabama. Sisters-in-law; Mrs. Anita Garza, of Linn, Mrs. Herlinda Tijerina of Edinburg. Daughters: Juanita (Mario) Garza, Norma Davis, Soila Flor, Amelia, Sarah Young, Stephanie (Javier) Soliz, sons: Raymond, Lazaro (Altagracia), Johnny (Alma), Fred, and Leeroy Young. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, her dear friends Bob Raymond and Yuliana Barrios, numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Young was a loving wife, mother, grandma and a great friend to many. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Pallbearers will be, Victor Ramirez, JJ Young, Ethan Young, David Zamarripa, Andrew Zamarripa, and Rudy Flores. Honorary Pallbearers will be her sons. Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation with the family between the hours of five and nine o'clock in the evening with a seven o'clock rosary, today, September 17, 2012, at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg with time to be determined on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Interment will follow at Santa Anita Cemetery in Edinburg. Our thankful hearts go to all the medical personnel that gave it all to attend to our mother's medical needs. Special thanks to Dr. Tawid Shuaib, Dr. Samuel Garcia, Dr. Mariano Salinas Garza and their staff as well as a million thanks to the professional staff at Hospice Compassionate Care and Dedication Home Health Care. May our Lord continue to bless each one of you with the wisdom of healing and caring for those in need. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
