Obituary for Clemente Cuellar

Clemente Cuellar
Clemente Cuellar,93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 surrounded by his wife and family after a brief illness. Mr. Cuellar was born in Mexico but resided in Linn, Tx. most of his life. After working for 35 years with Guerra Bros., he retired and was able to pursue his passion of becoming a self employed farmer. Mr. Cuellar was a caring and wise man who imparted the value of education onto his children. All seven of them became educated successful career individuals.
Mr. Cuellar is survived by his loving wife, Josefina, whom were married for 77 years and 5 children: Marcelino (Joyce) Cuellar, Atanacia (Gilbert) Farmer, Roberto Cuellar, Adelaida “Mimi” (Travis) Morales and Josie (Alan) Schmidt. He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Jose Luis Cuellar and Ernesto Cuellar.
The Cuellar family would like to offer a special thanks to the entire staff of Renaissance Hospice and Palliative Care.

God Looked upon his garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon His earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.
He knew that you were suffering and would not get well on Earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

Visitation will be at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday, April 28, 2017 with a Rosary at 4:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 12: 00 noon with interment at Hillcrest Cemetery in Edinburg.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are as follows, Roberto Cuellar, Bobby Cuellar, Romeo Cuellar, Javier Morales, Carlos Guerra, and Rafael Guerra Jr.
